Click Sixty-one-year-old male with Burkitt lymphoma. Upper abdominal ultrasound using a curve probe (3-5 MHz). There is diffuse peritoneal anechoic effusion and heterogeneous nodular thickening of the anterior abdominal wall.

Click Sixty-one-year-old male with Burkitt lymphoma. Axial plain CT of the abdomen and pelvis (Scanner: Multidetector CT Philips Brilliance 16- slices®. Protocol: 250mAs, 120kV, 5mm slice thickness). Plain CT shows diffuse nodular peritoneal thickening. The thickening of the greater omentum results in a mass-like appearance with caking effect. There is low attenuation free peritoneal effusion filling all the peritoneal recesses.

Protocol: 250mAs, 120kV, 5mm slice thickness, 100ml iobitridol Xenetix® (350 mg Iodine/ml)). Contrast enhanced CT in the arterial phase (lung window) shows a small right pleural effusion. They are no significant findings in the pulmonary parenchyma.
