Axial CT scan in the portal venous phase (oral and intravenous (100ml of Omnipaque 300) contrast),1mm slice thickness with 3mm reconstructions, 402mA, 120kV) which demonstrates a rounded collection within the right renal bed consisting of a thin capsule with a hypodense centre containing multiple metallic coils and located immediately posterior to the junction of the second and third parts of the duodenum.
